Giannis Orfanos's late challenge caught a NINAGIO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giannis Orfanos helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 minutes, Notis Koufakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarisa F.C. and the NINAGIO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Sarisa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Notis Koufakis to maneuver through the defense. Thanos Kourkouvelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Katralikakis in the 37th minute of play. Kosmas Vakoufaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Babbis Lissaridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The wind increased when Kosmas Vakoufaris made the kick off in the second half. Kosmas Vakoufaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After having played for 66 minutes, Dimitris Vakaloglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarisa F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Vakaloglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dimitris Vakaloglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Sarisa F.C.'s Manolis Katralikakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Manolis Katralikakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarisa F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manolis Katralikakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanos Kourkouvelas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Manolis Katralikakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thanos Kourkouvelas was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kosmas Vakoufaris in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Babbis Lissaridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kosmas Vakoufaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Vakaloglou kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Kosmas Vakoufaris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Babbis Lissaridis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Manolis Katralikakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The NINAGIO FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sarisa F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
