Spectators: 7622 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anastasios Zimaras started the match with the kick off. Vassilis Papadopoulos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alkoolikoi FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gerasimos Patsoureas hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Alkoolikoi FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerasimos Patsoureas. In the 22nd minute, Nestoras Lagonikakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerasimos Patsoureas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Vassilis Papadopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alkoolikoi FC and the AKONTION players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Alkoolikoi FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Papadopoulos. Anastasios Zimaras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Alexandros Kakadelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Apostolis Pagonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Alkoolikoi FC's Vassilis Papadopoulos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gerasimos Patsoureas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Dionysis Alexandris took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandros Kakadelis. Alexandros Kakadelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Periklis Gemisis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alkoolikoi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Periklis Gemisis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charalambos Giannakoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionysis Alexandris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dionysis Alexandris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerasimos Patsoureas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Anastasios Zimaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alkoolikoi FC's Alexandros Kakadelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alkoolikoi FC's goalkeeper Alexandros Kakadelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandros Kakadelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Zimaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Apostolis Pagonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasios Zimaras in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandros Kakadelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute of the game, Nikolas Moras landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Alekos Kalogeropoulos's late challenge caught a AKONTION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alekos Kalogeropoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Alekos Kalogeropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Periklis Gemisis kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Charalambos Giannakoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerasimos Patsoureas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Anastasios Zimaras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandros Kakadelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play Alkoolikoi FC's Gerasimos Patsoureas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Dionysis Alexandris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandros Kakadelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Zimaras in the 88th minute of play. Periklis Gemisis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 95th playminute. AKONTION's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
