Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) A.O. Kavalas's Anthimos Charalambidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonis Rokofilos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of PLAGIARI booed when A.O. Kavalas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthimos Charalambidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kari Benzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaios Trigonakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kari Benzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kari Benzema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaios Trigonakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Koulis Providas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes PLAGIARI got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Senio. Babbis Giannoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenios Matzavidis having to interfere. Eugenios Matzavidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthimos Charalambidis in the 31st minute of play. Eugenios Matzavidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Giannoglou in the 32nd minute of the match. When Anestis Katsiaros came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the PLAGIARI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Katsiaros couldn't finish the play. Vaios Trigonakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Katsiaros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaios Trigonakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kari Benzema in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kari Benzema stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kari Benzema struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Vaios Trigonakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLAGIARI. Stefanos Samaras hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Vaios Trigonakis came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by PLAGIARI's Anestis Katsiaros. But to his dismay, Anestis Katsiaros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Manuel Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antonis Rokofilos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaios Trigonakis having to interfere. Vaios Kostenoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Stergios Simeonidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaios Trigonakis having to interfere. Anestis Katsiaros hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Kari Benzema succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Manuel Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Babbis Giannoglou during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A.O. Kavalas getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Babbis Giannoglou hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, PLAGIARI's Kari Benzema sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaios Trigonakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kari Benzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PLAGIARI had played much better football throughout.
