The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugenios Matzavidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marios Karpouzis's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Thanos Kourkouvelas was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Kari Benzema capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kari Benzema really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to NINAGIO FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Argyris Papakrivos hit a great ball. Anestis Katsiaros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Thanos Kourkouvelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, NINAGIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kari Benzema came free, but Thanos Kourkouvelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Ntinos Charalambakis suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Anestis Katsiaros's late challenge caught a NINAGIO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anestis Katsiaros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PLAGIARI's Anestis Katsiaros got a free kick in the 31st minute. Anestis Katsiaros was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 33 played minutes PLAGIARI got a freekick which was hit by Anestis Katsiaros. 34 minutes into the game, Marios Karpouzis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eugenios Matzavidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marios Karpouzis hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, NINAGIO FC's goalkeeper Thanos Kourkouvelas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kari Benzema. In the 42nd minute, Manuel Senio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonis Rokofilos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Thanos Kourkouvelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Antonis Rokofilos made the kick off in the second half. Stergios Simeonidis's late challenge caught a NINAGIO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stergios Simeonidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Stergios Simeonidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenios Matzavidis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stavros Kakanoulias. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by NINAGIO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Odysseas Bardakis was slow to take the kick. During this time PLAGIARI's players had a chance to rest. In the 58th minute, Stergios Simeonidis fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Thanos Kourkouvelas moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. After some careless play in the NINAGIO FC defense, Kari Benzema kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thanos Kourkouvelas. The NINAGIO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thanos Kourkouvelas should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, NINAGIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kari Benzema came free, but Thanos Kourkouvelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Antonis Rokofilos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in PLAGIARI's zone, Marios Karpouzis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenios Matzavidis came out of the goal and Marios Karpouzis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesper Tunander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Kourkouvelas having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, NINAGIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Rokofilos came free, but Thanos Kourkouvelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kari Benzema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanos Kourkouvelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Rokofilos in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Kari Benzema managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLAGIARI's supporters rose to their feet, but Kari Benzema was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanos Kourkouvelas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kari Benzema scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanos Kourkouvelas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Argyris Papakrivos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Antonis Rokofilos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLAGIARI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonis Rokofilos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonis Rokofilos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PLAGIARI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
