Π.Α.Ο.Κ Δωδεκανησιακό F.C's Babbis Varemenos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. Zisis Ritsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demis Dermitzakis having to interfere. Demis Dermitzakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veniamin Viglas in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Aetochorion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Valassoglou to maneuver through the defense. Viktoras Giannakakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Varelas having to interfere. Aetochorion BC's Viktoras Giannakakos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Adamantios Kabouratos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
