In the 10th minute Dimitris Samaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Leonardos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 15 in the game by Alketas Paragios from a close distance when the talented Nikos Leonardos managed to make a qualified save. ARGOLIDA2000's players were relieved. Dimitris Samaras struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Nikos Leonardos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fanari FC. Alketas Paragioss short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Nikos Leonardos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Fanari FC's Nikos Manolopoulos got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes, ARGOLIDA2000's Eleftherios Papoutsakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michalis Papadas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitris Samaras to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Christos Dimitriou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARGOLIDA2000's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fanari FC the free kick. In the 55th minute, Christos Dimitriou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Leonardos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alketas Paragios in the 65th minute of the match. Nikos Leonardos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Samaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Themos Sotiroglou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michalis Papadas. Christos Dimitriou got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Fanari FC booed when ARGOLIDA2000 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Dimitriou didn't get a good kick on the ball.
