Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paris Tzanetakis kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Paris Tzanetakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Grigoris Efthimis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoris Efthimis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Argyris Drakos made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Zacharias Kerveros sent off a good shot on target. Ios's Grigoris Efthimis got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Stelios Chatzoudis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ios's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelios Chatzoudis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Xomeritakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lianoverion's Konstantinos Xomeritakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Tzanetakis in the 28th minute of play. Thomas Zacharakos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ios's Argyris Drakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ios from getting a goal against them. Zacharias Kerveros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Argyris Drakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Zacharias Kerveros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lianoverion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

Ios's Vassilis Kozirakis was substituted for Stelios Chatzoudis. Ios's Stefanos Savouridis was substituted for Themos Michopoulos. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charis Vourlis to strike the kick off in the second half. Argyris Drakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Vourlis in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ios's zone, Charis Vourlis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argyris Drakos came out of the goal and Charis Vourlis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Argyris Drakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Vourlis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Argyris Drakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Kerveros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paris Tzanetakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantinos Xomeritakis having to make a save. The supporters of Lianoverion booed when Ios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fokas Asimidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Thanasis Papagiannakos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Argyris Drakos skillfully saved the ball. Lakis Liapakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigoris Efthimis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Xomeritakis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacharias Kerveros in the 83rd minute of play forced Ios's goalkeeper Argyris Drakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Lianoverion's Charis Vourlis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Argyris Drakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Lianoverion's Konstantinos Xomeritakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Tzanetakis in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ios's Paris Tzanetakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konstantinos Xomeritakis. That made the score 3-1 after 96 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ios players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lianoverion.
