Charis Vourlis started the match with the kick off. Iason Sferopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Konstantinos Xomeritakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Asimis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacharias Kerveros in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mpizelokastritsa FC's Koulis Kapernekas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Lianoverion's Telis Siokos got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacharias Kerveros in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Takis Asimis saved Mpizelokastritsa FC from getting behind. When Charis Vourlis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lianoverion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Vourlis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lianoverion getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Telis Siokos hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Giotis Mourouzis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lianoverion's Konstantinos Xomeritakis didn't even have to move. Aggelos Tsirkos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Takis Asimis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Kerveros in the 37th minute of play. Mpizelokastritsa FC's Takis Asimis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacharias Kerveros in the 44th minute of play. Dimitris Katsiabis hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Iason Sferopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Xomeritakis having to interfere. Giorgos Naskos struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Takis Asimis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lianoverion. A collision led to Mpizelokastritsa FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dimitris Katsiabis hit a great ball. Zacharias Kerveros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Asimis having to interfere. Takis Asimis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Vourlis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Naskos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Takis Asimis made a huge save. Charis Vourlis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charis Vourlis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Takis Asimis made a huge save. Zacharias Kerveros scored 0-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Takis Asimis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefanos Veggos scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Xomeritakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charis Vourlis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Takis Asimis came out and tried to block the shot, but Charis Vourlis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zacharias Kerveros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lianoverion's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacharias Kerveros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takis Asimis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 91 minutes, Charis Vourlis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lianoverion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charis Vourlis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 93 in the game by Zacharias Kerveros from a close distance when the talented Takis Asimis managed to make a qualified save. Mpizelokastritsa FC's players were relieved. When Charis Vourlis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Lianoverion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Vourlis couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Lianoverion left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mpizelokastritsa FC.
