The supporters of ARGOLIDA2000 booed when Ios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelios Chatzoudis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fokas Asimidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakis Liapakis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nikos Leonardos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ios. After a rather tough play, ARGOLIDA2000's Zacharias Triantafyllou got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Ios getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fokas Asimidis hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Ios made a substitution. Vassilis Kozirakis replaced Stelios Chatzoudis. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Themos Sotiroglou to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paris Tzanetakis in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Leonardos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ARGOLIDA2000 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Giorgos Kosmas hit a great ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Paris Tzanetakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARGOLIDA2000's Nikos Leonardos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Ios got a corner. ARGOLIDA2000's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fokas Asimidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Ios booed when ARGOLIDA2000 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Dimitriou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes ARGOLIDA2000 got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kosmas. Ios's Paris Tzanetakis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nikos Leonardos was a little too slow when Paris Tzanetakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Nikos Leonardos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ios eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
