Lakis Mathioudakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Golden Eagle Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Mathioudakis to maneuver through the defense. Golden Eagle Fc's Stamatis Kanelidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Petsanas in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Petsanas in the 31st minute of play forced Golden Eagle Fc's goalkeeper Stamatis Kanelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikiforos Kaplanopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikiforos Kaplanopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Golden Eagle Fc getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Stamatis Kanelidis had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Thomas Petsanas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Evaggelos Tsinaris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniil Bakalopoulos having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Petsanas was the one to do the kick off. Daniil Bakalopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaggelos Tsinaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Thomas Petsanas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Eagle Fc's Stamatis Kanelidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonis Karakonstantinou struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Stamatis Kanelidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elatokhσri. The tension between the Elatokhσri and the Golden Eagle Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Stelios Skounas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Eagle Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elatokhσri.
