Stamatis Kanelidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Kalogeros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktoras Kalogeros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamatis Kanelidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Golden Eagle Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Kalogeros came free, but Stamatis Kanelidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lakis Mathioudakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christos Rigas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Rigas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Kanelidis having to interfere. F.C. Sparda's Christos Rigas got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Viktoras Kalogeros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Eagle Fc's Stamatis Kanelidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Rigas in the 31st minute of play forced Golden Eagle Fc's goalkeeper Stamatis Kanelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evaggelos Tsinaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, F.C. Sparda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Grigorakis to maneuver through the defense. Lakis Mathioudakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Lakis Mistriotis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Evaggelos Tsinaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Eagle Fc's zone, Christos Rigas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamatis Kanelidis came out of the goal and Christos Rigas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaggelos Tsinaris was the one to do the kick off. Loukianos Vakrinos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, one of Golden Eagle Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Eagle Fc. Viktoras Kalogeros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaggelos Tsinaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lakis Mistriotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lakis Mathioudakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Viktoras Kalogeros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Kanelidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Evaggelos Tsinaris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 79 played minutes Golden Eagle Fc got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Patsatzoglou. Christoforos Nafpliotis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Golden Eagle Fc's Stamatis Kanelidis got control of the ball when Christos Rigas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Golden Eagle Fc's goalkeeper Stamatis Kanelidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Rigas. Lakis Mathioudakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lakis Mistriotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Golden Eagle Fc's Evaggelos Tsinaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lakis Mistriotis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Golden Eagle Fc's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
