Spectators: 6936 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paris Tzanetakis took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Alketas Paragios came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Fanari FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alketas Paragios couldn't finish the play. Paris Tzanetakis took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michalis Papadas. Michalis Papadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alketas Paragios might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Argyris Drakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alketas Paragios ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Themos Michopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fanari FC's Michalis Papadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Tzanetakis in the 28th minute of play. If Miltiadis Mantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alketas Paragios got free with Argyris Drakos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 played minutes Ios got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Liapakis. Ios made a substitution. Vassilis Kozirakis replaced Stelios Chatzoudis. In the 48th minute, Lakis Liapakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Michalis Papadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paris Tzanetakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 59 played minutes Ios got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Kozirakis. The crowd rose to their feet as Ios's Paris Tzanetakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michalis Papadas. That made the score 1-3 after 61 minutes of play. After 67 minutes, Paris Tzanetakis made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Fanari FC's Michalis Papadas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ios booed when Fanari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Vrettos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stratos Daskalakis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Fanari FC's Michalis Papadas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Fanari FC from getting a goal against them. Paris Tzanetakis struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Michalis Papadas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ios. 82 minutes into the game, Paris Tzanetakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Michalis Papadas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vassilis Kozirakis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Paris Tzanetakis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Michalis Papadas 89 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Paris Tzanetakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ios's supporters rose to their feet, but Paris Tzanetakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michalis Papadas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Fanari FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ios's performance. The match ended with a win for Ios.
