Aggelos Fanakoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARGOLIDA2000. The crowd rose to their feet as Argyris Koulakidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikos Leonardos. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Dimitris Kakanoulias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Themos Sotiroglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aggelos Fanakoglou was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Themos Sotiroglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Fanakoglou having to interfere. Nikos Leonardos made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Aggelos Tsibos sent off a good shot on target. Aggelos Fanakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Kakanoulias in the 35th minute of the match. Emmanouil Vrazilianos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. ARGOLIDA2000's Eleftherios Papoutsakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aston Villa. After 43 minutes, Themos Sotiroglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARGOLIDA2000 and the Aston Villa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes ARGOLIDA2000 got a freekick which was hit by Themos Sotiroglou. Argyris Koulakidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Argyris Koulakidis to make the kick off. Dimitris Kakanoulias in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aggelos Fanakoglou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dimitris Kakanoulias made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 54thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Aggelos Fanakoglou would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Aggelos Tsibos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Leonardos having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Kostas Tsilis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARGOLIDA2000's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aston Villa the free kick. Kostas Tsilis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Themos Sotiroglou hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Aggelos Tsibos made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ARGOLIDA2000's Nikos Leonardos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aggelos Fanakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Sotiroglou in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Aston Villa booed when ARGOLIDA2000 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Tsilis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Tsilis got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kostas Tsilis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, ARGOLIDA2000 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleftherios Papoutsakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Aggelos Tsibos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Leonardos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aston Villa fans cheered their team off the field, for while ARGOLIDA2000 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
