Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Charis Vourlis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Charis Vourlis came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lianoverion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Vourlis couldn't finish the play. After 5 minutes, Iakovos Kasdovassilis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Sparda and the Lianoverion players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sparda's Iakovos Kasdovassilis got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to F.C. Sparda getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Akis Grigorakis hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, F.C. Sparda's goalkeeper Lakis Mistriotis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacharias Kerveros. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacharias Kerveros got free with Lakis Mistriotis in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Alexis Anastasakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sparda's Akis Grigorakis got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Stavros Kabourakis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C. Sparda's Lakis Mistriotis didn't even have to move. Viktoras Kalogeros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Konstantinos Xomeritakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Lianoverion's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Rigas came free, but Konstantinos Xomeritakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacharias Kerveros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lakis Mistriotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Akis Grigorakis fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Sparda's protests and gave Akis Grigorakis a yellow card for diving instead. Akis Grigorakis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Zacharias Kerveros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lakis Mistriotis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zacharias Kerveros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Lakis Mistriotis made a huge save. If Christos Rigas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakis Mistriotis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacharias Kerveros in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktoras Kalogeros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Lianoverion's goalkeeper Konstantinos Xomeritakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Rigas. Charis Vourlis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lakis Mistriotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, F.C. Sparda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Grigorakis to maneuver through the defense. Lakis Mistriotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Vourlis in the 68th minute of play. Zacharias Kerveros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacharias Kerveros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lakis Mistriotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Lianoverion's goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Kalogeros came free, but Konstantinos Xomeritakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zacharias Kerveros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakis Mistriotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Vourlis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, F.C. Sparda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paschalis Kalinichtas to maneuver through the defense. Zacharias Kerveros struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lakis Mistriotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lianoverion. After 86 played minutes F.C. Sparda got a freekick which was hit by Iakovos Kasdovassilis. Zacharias Kerveros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charis Vourlis in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lakis Mistriotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charis Vourlis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Mistriotis having to interfere. F.C. Sparda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
