Spectators: 6877 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nasos Okkas started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Lakis Katogas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the kallithea fc and the Anatolou players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to kallithea fc getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lakis Katogas hit a great ball. kallithea fc's Lakis Katogas got his second yellow card of the match in the 10th minute. The referee ordered Lakis Katogas off the ground. After 10 played minutes kallithea fc got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Katogas. Gerasimos Kavaliaratos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasos Okkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Nikitas Spetsieris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Vougas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gerasimos Kavaliaratos made a huge save. Gerasimos Kavaliaratos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Vougas in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, Nikitas Spetsieris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasos Okkas in the 18th minute of play forced kallithea fc's goalkeeper Gerasimos Kavaliaratos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Bourlokas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, kallithea fc's Gerasimos Kavaliaratos got control of the ball when Demis Kostenoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st match minute, kallithea fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikitas Spetsieris to maneuver through the defense. Gerasimos Kavaliaratos made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Thomas Vougas sent off a good shot on target. If Dimitris Bourlokas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatolou's Simos Plitsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolas Tsiartas in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, kallithea fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Tsiartas to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Vougas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gerasimos Kavaliaratos made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Bourlokas made a kick off. Gerasimos Kavaliaratos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marios Vrakozonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Simos Plitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolas Tsiartas in the 53rd minute of play. Eleftherios Lentis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Nikos Kazoleas charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Kazoleas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anatolou booed when kallithea fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Kazoleas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Thomas Vougas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerasimos Kavaliaratos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Kottidis struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Simos Plitsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerasimos Kavaliaratos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vougas in the 97th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, kallithea fc failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
