The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Paidiki stegi fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xoϊdha:s goal. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Xoϊdha. Theocharis Dalianas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimosthenis Ntaralas. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Kofidis in the 11th minute of play forced Xoϊdha's goalkeeper Thymios Bozidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimosthenis Ntaralas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Vogiatzis in the 13th minute of play. Petros Vogiatzis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimosthenis Ntaralas having to make a save. After 19 minutes of play, Xoϊdha's Nikos Stergallas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimosthenis Ntaralas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paidiki stegi fc's Dimosthenis Ntaralas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Vogiatzis in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Nikos Stergallas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thymios Bozidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aggelos Balaskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Xoϊdha's zone, Stathis Letsos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thymios Bozidis came out of the goal and Stathis Letsos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Petros Vogiatzis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Stergallas in the 36th minute of play forced Paidiki stegi fc's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Ntaralas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nikos Stergallas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Xoϊdha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Stergallas couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Xoϊdha got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Velas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Xoϊdha's Thymios Bozidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Kofidis in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Charis Tavlaridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Xoϊdha's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Kofidis came free, but Thymios Bozidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xoϊdha's Thymios Bozidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Kofidis in the 58th minute of play. If Alexandros Kofidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Nikos Stergallas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xoϊdha's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Stergallas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimosthenis Ntaralas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Nikos Stergallas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alexandros Kofidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petros Vogiatzis might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimosthenis Ntaralas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petros Vogiatzis ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Stergallas in the 81st minute of play forced Paidiki stegi fc's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Ntaralas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petros Vogiatzis struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dimosthenis Ntaralas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xoϊdha. When Alexandros Kofidis came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Paidiki stegi fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandros Kofidis couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xoϊdha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
