In the 3rd match minute, Larisa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veniamin Papapostolou to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Larisa FC's protests and gave Chatziantoniou Volonakis a yellow card for diving instead. Chatziantoniou Volonakis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Babbis Balatsouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Lithopoulos having to interfere. Lakis Katsaros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iordanis Tsokaridis made a kick off. Alketas Bountouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordanis Tsokaridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Viktoras Triantafyllopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Bountouris having to interfere. If Dimos Maragos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Dimos Maragos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alketas Bountouris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Babbis Balatsouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Lithopoulos having to interfere. Prodromos Lithopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakis Katsaros in the 77th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Dimos Maragos in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dimos Maragos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Larisa FC's zone, Dimos Maragos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Bountouris came out of the goal and Dimos Maragos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alketas Bountouris made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dimos Maragos sent off a good shot on target. Voúlista Panayía BC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
