Veniamin Konstantaras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Trachanopoulos in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iakovos Thomakis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emmanouil Vrontakis saved Legend from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Legend's Giorgos Trachanopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Veniamin Konstantaras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giorgos Kyriakidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emmanouil Vrontakis having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Legend's Daniil Sapounakis got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Thodoris Paspalakis fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legend's protests and gave Thodoris Paspalakis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Covid FC booed when Legend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thodoris Paspalakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Covid FC's Michalis Nestoroulis got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Daniil Sapounakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Konstantaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veniamin Konstantaras was a little too slow when Daniil Sapounakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Emmanouil Vrontakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakovos Thomakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Pavlos Thomakoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emmanouil Vrontakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Pavlos Lygos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covid FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavlos Lygos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmanouil Vrontakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Legend players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Covid FC were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iakovos Thomakis was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Thodoris Paspalakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iakovos Thomakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Iakovos Thomakis came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Covid FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iakovos Thomakis couldn't finish the play. Isidoros Kagiouzis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Legend's Emmanouil Vrontakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Thomakoglou in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Thodoris Paspalakis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Covid FC's Veniamin Konstantaras. Veniamin Konstantaras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iakovos Thomakis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Covid FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 76th minute Pavlos Lygos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanouil Vrontakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanouil Vrontakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iakovos Thomakis in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Pavlos Lygos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emmanouil Vrontakis, 2-3. Pavlos Lygos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Emmanouil Vrontakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pavlos Lygos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Lygos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanouil Vrontakis having to interfere. Pavlos Lygos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emmanouil Vrontakis having to make a save. Veniamin Konstantaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Trachanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Covid FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legend.
