The referee ignored PAGOTENIOI's protests and gave Michalis Mamalis a yellow card for diving instead. Michalis Mamalis hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The tension between the PAGOTENIOI and the Legend players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Eutichios Prezerakos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the PAGOTENIOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Prezerakos couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legend's goalkeeper Emmanouil Vrontakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniil Sapounakis was the one to do the kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PAGOTENIOI fully deserved thier win.
