Ilias Panopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Kastanopoulos in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Rodriguez in the 6th minute of play forced AEK THESS's goalkeeper Ilias Panopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilias Panopoulos came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Remal Hasikl's Marcial Rodriguez. But to his dismay, Marcial Rodriguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcial Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ilias Panopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Spyros Kotsios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remal Hasikl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spyros Kotsios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apostolos Iordanopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ilias Panopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Rodriguez's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Remal Hasikl's Marcial Rodriguez in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK THESS's goalie prevented a goal. Panos Papoutsakos charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panos Papoutsakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Remal Hasikl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Papoutsakos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Remal Hasikl's zone, Andreas Papachronis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Christou came out of the goal and Andreas Papachronis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marcial Rodriguez came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Remal Hasikl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Rodriguez couldn't finish the play. Soulis Kounadakis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ilias Panopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Kastanopoulos in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Marcial Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilias Panopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ilias Panopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Kastanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Rodriguez in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilias Panopoulos saved AEK THESS from getting behind. Iosif Kastanopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Kastanopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilias Panopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Rodriguez to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcial Rodriguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilias Panopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. A hard shot 54 in the game by Iosif Kastanopoulos from a close distance when the talented Ilias Panopoulos managed to make a qualified save. AEK THESS's players were relieved. Iosif Kastanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Panopoulos having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Apostolos Iordanopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEK THESS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Remal Hasikl the free kick. Marcial Rodriguez scored 0-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilias Panopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Iosif Kastanopoulos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ilias Panopoulos, passed just outside the right post. A hard shot 74 in the game by Iosif Kastanopoulos from a close distance when the talented Ilias Panopoulos managed to make a qualified save. AEK THESS's players were relieved. The Remal Hasikl fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Remal Hasikl's Marcial Rodriguez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 81 minutes into the match, AEK THESS's goalkeeper Ilias Panopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Rodriguez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Kastanopoulos in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilias Panopoulos saved AEK THESS from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Remal Hasikl got a freekick which was hit by Charilaos Vertsiotis.
