Manos Samaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Santamouris having to interfere. If Tasos Tsochos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petros Giannakopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tasos Tsochos's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Vaggelis Seretis's late challenge caught a Yellow Blackers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaggelis Seretis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Vaggelis Seretis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thodoris Santamouris made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Stefanos Mantzios sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

OREGON VALLEY FC's Thodoris Santamouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiros Karaiskos in the 52nd minute of play. If Stefanos Mantzios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 54th minute of the match Vaggelis Seretis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vaggelis Seretis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
