Zacharias Beloutsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Giannakopoulos having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Zacharias Beloutsis made a precise shot to the right of Petros Giannakopoulos. Yellow Blackers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Themis Karkantos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Zacharias Beloutsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manos Samaras kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Dimitris Siouras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool Gr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Siouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Siouras in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petros Giannakopoulos saved Yellow Blackers from getting behind. Petros Giannakopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Siouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Siouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Giannakopoulos having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yellow Blackers's goalkeeper Petros Giannakopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 52 played minutes Yellow Blackers got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Chatzoulis. The supporters of Liverpool Gr booed when Yellow Blackers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Samaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Dimitris Siouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Giannakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vlassis Mazonakis got free with Petros Giannakopoulos in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zinon Papandreou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiros Karaiskos, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Liverpool Gr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlassis Mazonakis to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Liverpool Gr's Petros Giannakopoulos threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dimitris Siouras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yellow Blackers's goalkeeper Petros Giannakopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Liverpool Gr had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
