In the 14th minute, Andreas Papachronis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andreas Papachronis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Seretis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OREGON VALLEY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK THESS the free kick. A collision led to OREGON VALLEY FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. With a little luck, AEK THESS's Ilias Panopoulos got control of the ball when Tasos Konstantellos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
