When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ilias Tataridis sped through AEK THESS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilias Panopoulos. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK THESS's goalkeeper Ilias Panopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thodoris Briakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilias Tataridis in the 16th minute of play forced AEK THESS's goalkeeper Ilias Panopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AEK THESS's Apostolos Iordanopoulos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ilias Panopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kanatas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Ilias Tataridis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilias Panopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Καππαδοκία F.C's Kostas Kaliris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Καππαδοκία F.C from getting a goal against them. When Καππαδοκία F.C's Ilias Tataridis in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK THESS's goalie prevented a goal. Ilias Tataridis took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilias Panopoulos. Ilias Panopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ilias Tataridis succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Kanatas in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilias Panopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by AEK THESS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stathis Touboulis was slow to take the kick. During this time Καππαδοκία F.C's players had a chance to rest. Καππαδοκία F.C's Stathis Touboulis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ilias Panopoulos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thodoris Briakos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. AEK THESS's Ilias Panopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kanatas in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Papachronis made a kick off. Nikos Kanatas might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilias Panopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikos Kanatas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilias Panopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Kanatas in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ilias Tataridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Καππαδοκία F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilias Tataridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Panopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 played minutes Καππαδοκία F.C got a freekick which was hit by Makis Daras. Ilias Tataridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ilias Panopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Καππαδοκία F.C's Nikos Kanatas got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikos Kanatas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ilias Panopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Καππαδοκία F.C. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Stathis Touboulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Καππαδοκία F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Touboulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Panopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, AEK THESS's goalkeeper Ilias Panopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilias Tataridis. Thodoris Briakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ilias Tataridis came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Καππαδοκία F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilias Tataridis couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Καππαδοκία F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AEK THESS.
