The AN.ARTAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vrasidas Kastigios should have stopped the shot. If Christos Tigris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simos Kakoudakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iason Pekos in the 16th minute. Vrasidas Kastigios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Kanellakis in the 24th minute of the match. Christos Tigris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simos Kakoudakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Koutsokefalakis in the 33rd minute of play. Vrasidas Kastigios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Kanellakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babbis Kanellakis made a kick off. Nikos Lazanas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Babbis Kanellakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AN.ARTAS fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when AN.ARTAS's Alekos Koutsokefalakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of AN.ARTAS booed when Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenios Katsiaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Kostas Ntaliardos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simos Kakoudakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Vrasidas Kastigios managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas's Christos Tigris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Babbis Kanellakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vrasidas Kastigios made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Christos Tigris sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in AN.ARTAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Vrasidas Kastigios, was totally fooled by Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas's Paraskevas Bakogiannis, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Kanellakis in the 97th minute of play forced AN.ARTAS's goalkeeper Vrasidas Kastigios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 99 minutes into the game, AN.ARTAS's Alekos Koutsokefalakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simos Kakoudakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ελπις Εδεσσας-Hellas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AN.ARTAS to leave the ground with a draw.
