Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stamatis Saltiris kicked off to start the match. Paraskevas Soupas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koulis Korobos in the 4th minute of play. Iosif Lazaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Argyris Fragou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savas Myroforidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paraskevas Soupas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Lazaridis in the 22nd minute of play forced ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's goalkeeper Ignatios Baltimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraskevas Soupas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Saltiris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Ignatios Baltimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simos Balamoutis in the 29th minute of play. If Simos Balamoutis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simos Balamoutis made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Koulis Korobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stamatis Saltiris was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 56th minute Stamatis Saltiris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Soupas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraskevas Soupas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamatis Saltiris, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Stamatis Saltiris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paraskevas Soupas came out and tried to block the shot, but Stamatis Saltiris slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 60th minute. Koulis Korobos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paraskevas Soupas firmly grabbed it by the left post. OFI's Paraskevas Soupas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Saltiris in the 67th minute of play. Koulis Korobos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Paraskevas Soupas made a huge save. With a little luck, OFI's Paraskevas Soupas got control of the ball when Koulis Korobos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, OFI's goalkeeper Paraskevas Soupas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koulis Korobos. Stamatis Saltiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paraskevas Soupas made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Koulis Korobos sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, OFI's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Saltiris came free, but Paraskevas Soupas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, OFI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Lazaridis to maneuver through the defense. Stamatis Saltiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Soupas having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Anthimos Kanatopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ the free kick. Paraskevas Soupas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koulis Korobos in the 90th minute. If Stamatis Saltiris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OFI throughout the match.
