In the 13th minute, Fotis Psomiadis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Ignatios Baltimas didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Chrysodouli's Themos Kourbanas got a free kick in the 39th minute. With his leg Koulis Varkaris managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Koulis Korobos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chrysodouli's Koulis Varkaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Pittarakis in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Peponis was the one to do the kick off. Fanis Pittarakis scored 2-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Koulis Varkaris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stamatis Saltiris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Chrysodouli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Peponis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Alexandros Peponis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ignatios Baltimas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Themos Kourbanas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ignatios Baltimas made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Alexandros Peponis sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
