The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stamatis Saltiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignatios Baltimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michalis Petrochilos's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC's Michalis Petrochilos got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Michalis Petrochilos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Baltimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandros Perperidis kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Savas Myroforidis got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dimitris Xanthidis, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Koulis Korobos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasimos Michelakis having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Stamatis Saltiris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgos Tsaris took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignatios Baltimas. Ignatios Baltimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

Ignatios Baltimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Petrochilos in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Stamatis Saltiris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamatis Saltiris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koulis Korobos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasimos Michelakis having to interfere. If Stamatis Saltiris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignatios Trilofos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Stamatis Saltiris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gerasimos Michelakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michalis Petrochilos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes, Thrasivoulos Kalamaras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ and the TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thrasivoulos Kalamaras kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Stamatis Saltiris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gerasimos Michelakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Koulis Korobos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC's Gerasimos Michelakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 3-1 became the score in the 92nd minute when Stamatis Saltiris elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC's zone, Koulis Korobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerasimos Michelakis came out of the goal and Koulis Korobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
