Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giorgos Kostetsos kicked off to start the match. PAOK FC's Fokas Papatsakalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Spyrou in the 3rd minute of play. Fokas Papatsakalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolos Spyrou in the 5th minute of the match. PAOK FC's Antonis Nestorakoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PAOK FC's Fokas Papatsakalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Spyrou in the 12th minute of play. Fragiskos Kalabosis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fokas Papatsakalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes Trikala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kyriakos Loulakis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PAOK FC's Kyriakos Loulakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Pirani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fragiskos Kalabosis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokas Papatsakalos having to interfere. Fokas Papatsakalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolos Spyrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Fokas Papatsakalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fragiskos Kalabosis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apostolos Spyrou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apostolos Spyrou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokas Papatsakalos having to interfere. When Antonis Nestorakoglou came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the PAOK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonis Nestorakoglou couldn't finish the play. PAOK FC's Fokas Papatsakalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fragiskos Kalabosis in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, PAOK FC's Iordanis Katsoulakis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Apostolos Spyrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fokas Papatsakalos having to make a save. The PAOK FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trikala FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apostolos Spyrou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kostas Soukis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. PAOK FC's Fokas Papatsakalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Spyrou in the 54th minute of play. Evaggelos Makaronas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolos Spyrou came free, but Fokas Papatsakalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Fokas Papatsakalos as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolos Spyrou in the 66th minute of play forced PAOK FC's goalkeeper Fokas Papatsakalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragiskos Kalabosis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokas Papatsakalos having to interfere. If Iordanis Katsoulakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Apostolos Spyrou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fokas Papatsakalos was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After having played for 79 minutes, Fragiskos Kalabosis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trikala FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fragiskos Kalabosis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fragiskos Kalabosis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fragiskos Kalabosis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th match minute, PAOK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simos Chronoulis to maneuver through the defense. When Apostolos Spyrou came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Trikala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apostolos Spyrou couldn't finish the play. Evaggelos Makaronas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Apostolos Spyrou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokas Papatsakalos having to interfere. The PAOK FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Trikala FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
