Xerocabos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Theocharis Papanikolopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menelaos Krommidas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 played minutes Xerocabos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Malezas. Eutichios Papadamoulis succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Menelaos Krommidas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With 44 minutes on the clock, Konstantinos Papalazarou commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 45 played minutes Xerocabos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Papalazarou. When Paris Drakopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the PAO KORINTHOU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Drakopoulos couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasios Vamvakas to make the kick off.
