The audience was convinced that Nontas Bougatselis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giorgos Georgiou was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Giotis Moustakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giotis Moustakidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aris Kalifoulis having to make a save. Stelios Tarantakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aris Kalifoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giotis Moustakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. INTER FC's Giotis Moustakidis got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nontas Bougatselis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Eleftherios Svirkos got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Panos Samios sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giorgos Georgiou skillfully saved the ball. After 58 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleftherios Svirkos. Giotis Moustakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stelios Tarantakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aris Kalifoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stelios Tarantakis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Vitαlion BC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Petros Papadimopoulos hit a great ball. When Stelios Tarantakis came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelios Tarantakis couldn't finish the play. After having played for 70 minutes, Giotis Moustakidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giotis Moustakidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giotis Moustakidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kalifoulis having to interfere. Aris Kalifoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Tarantakis in the 77th minute of the match. Tasos Stergioulas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Vitαlion BC's Alkaios Xenidis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Nontas Bougatselis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitαlion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nontas Bougatselis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Vitαlion BC's Nontas Bougatselis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giorgos Georgiou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Takis Patakos's late challenge caught a Vitαlion BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Patakos helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Patakos. Alkaios Xenidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Giotis Moustakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitαlion BC's Aris Kalifoulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Vitαlion BC from getting a goal against them. INTER FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
