Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nikos Kraidis started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Christos Skondras got a free kick in the 6th minute. INTER FC's Giorgos Georgiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Valassopoulos in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Eleftherios Svirkos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleftherios Svirkos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Alekos Valassopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of REDS FC booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimos Gavriilidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, REDS FC's Nikos Kraidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Georgiou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Christos Skondras charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Skondras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute of the match Theodosis Liolidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giorgos Georgiou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Giotis Moustakidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stelios Tarantakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestoras Kolonelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Tarantakis in the 26th minute of play. If Giotis Moustakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giotis Moustakidis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Nestoras Kolonelos 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Stelios Tarantakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelios Tarantakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestoras Kolonelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giotis Moustakidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nestoras Kolonelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Georgiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Valassopoulos in the 38th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Nikos Kraidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REDS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The INTER FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. REDS FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Stelios Tarantakis made the kick off in the second half. Nikos Kraidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Giorgos Georgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestoras Kolonelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Tarantakis in the 67th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play INTER FC's Christos Skondras was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With a little luck, INTER FC's Giorgos Georgiou got control of the ball when Alekos Valassopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giotis Moustakidis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Nestoras Kolonelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. The supporters of REDS FC booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nektarios Vrasidas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, REDS FC's Theodosis Liolidis tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nikos Kraidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikos Kraidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
