Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alkis Sotiriou got the match started through his kick off. Fokas Papatsakalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkis Sotiriou in the 8th minute of the match. Aris kavalas's Aggelos Kelepouris got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Alkis Sotiriou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokas Papatsakalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Aris kavalas's Fondas Agapoulis got control of the ball when Antonis Nestorakoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aggelos Kelepouris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fokas Papatsakalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Evaggelos Makaronas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fondas Agapoulis, passed just outside the right post. Alkis Sotiriou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fokas Papatsakalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simos Chronoulis during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Simos Chronoulis hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, Aris kavalas's Stratos Remoundos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fokas Papatsakalos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aris kavalas reached it. Fokas Papatsakalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aggelos Kelepouris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aris kavalas's goalkeeper Fondas Agapoulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Aris kavalas's Fondas Agapoulis got control of the ball when Antonis Nestorakoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Giorgos Kostetsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Agapoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eutichios Fytanidis during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giorgos Kostetsos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Antonis Nestorakoglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aris kavalas's Fondas Agapoulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sokratis Traganos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Giorgos Kostetsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Aris kavalas's zone, Antonis Nestorakoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fondas Agapoulis came out of the goal and Antonis Nestorakoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Giorgos Kostetsos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAOK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Kostetsos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fondas Agapoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fondas Agapoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Nestorakoglou in the 60th minute of play. Fondas Agapoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Nestorakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. PAOK FC's Antonis Nestorakoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of PAOK FC booed when Aris kavalas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkis Sotiriou didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Antonis Nestorakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Aggelos Kelepouris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fokas Papatsakalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eutichios Kotsios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Giorgos Kostetsos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAOK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 84th match minute, Aris kavalas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutichios Kotsios to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Nestorakoglou struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fondas Agapoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAOK FC. In the 93rd minute Giorgos Kostetsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Agapoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Kostetsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fondas Agapoulis having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
