Giorgos Asimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkaios Xenidis in the 10th minute of the match. If Achilleas Tselikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to PANTHRAX getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dimitris Pliatsikas hit a great ball. Giorgos Asimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nontas Bougatselis in the 20th minute of play. Achilleas Tselikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kalifoulis having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Alkaios Xenidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgos Asimidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Bougatselis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Themistoklis Alevizos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, PANTHRAX's goalkeeper Giorgos Asimidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koulis Krotidis. If Alkaios Xenidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Nontas Bougatselis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Asimidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Vitαlion BC's protests and gave Grigoris Miaoulis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, one of Vitαlion BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vitαlion BC. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for PANTHRAX. Miltos Kabouridis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aris Kalifoulis. 2-0. After some careless play in the PANTHRAX defense, Petros Papadimopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giorgos Asimidis. The PANTHRAX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giorgos Asimidis should have stopped the shot. Themistoklis Alevizos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kalifoulis having to interfere. Alkaios Xenidis took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Asimidis. Giorgos Asimidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
