After 9 minutes, Koulis Krotidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitαlion BC and the Xerocabos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Koulis Krotidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Vitαlion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Eutichios Papadamoulis came free, but Aris Kalifoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alexis Malezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 25th minute, Alexis Malezas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xerocabos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitαlion BC the free kick. When Kostas Prokopeas fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitαlion BC's protests and gave Kostas Prokopeas a yellow card for diving instead. Kostas Prokopeas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Alexis Malezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kalifoulis having to interfere. Aris Kalifoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutichios Papadamoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aris Kalifoulis having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Vitαlion BC's goalkeeper Aris Kalifoulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexis Malezas. Alexis Malezas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aris Kalifoulis came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexis Malezas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. Fokas Kalaboukas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The long shot by Iraklis Papantonakis in the 57th minute really tested Aris Kalifoulis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Eutichios Papadamoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Malezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kalifoulis having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Eutichios Papadamoulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aris Kalifoulis. Eutichios Papadamoulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Vitαlion BC defense, Alexis Malezas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aris Kalifoulis. The Vitαlion BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aris Kalifoulis should have stopped the shot. Trifon Peridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nontas Bougatselis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Malezas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Aris Kalifoulis made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Xerocabos F.C.'s Eutichios Papadamoulis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aris Kalifoulis. Aris Kalifoulis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Aris Kalifoulis was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Eutichios Papadamoulis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eutichios Papadamoulis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Aris Kalifoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 87th match minute, Vitαlion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Samios to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Iraklis Papantonakis from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Aris Kalifoulis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Xerocabos F.C.'s Konstantinos Papalazarou got a free kick in the 91st minute. The nice shot from Alexis Malezas in the 95thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Aris Kalifoulis had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Xerocabos F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vitαlion BC.
