Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apostolos Spyrou kicked off to start the match. Fragiskos Kalabosis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tasos Michalakos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Saint Neilos Utd's Lakis Giaourtas got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tasos Michalakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolos Spyrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Tasos Michalakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fragiskos Kalabosis in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fragiskos Kalabosis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trikala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fragiskos Kalabosis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tasos Michalakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Nikos Kontaxis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Renos Katsigiannis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tasos Michalakos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tasos Michalakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolos Spyrou in the 34th minute of play. Alex Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Kakaronis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Loukianos Kakaronis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apostolos Spyrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tasos Michalakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loukianos Kakaronis made a kick off. With his leg Tasos Michalakos managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Trikala FC's Fragiskos Kalabosis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Babbis Makris came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Saint Neilos Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Makris couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fokas Vorres during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Trikala FC got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Vorres. FC Saint Neilos Utd's Miltiadis Travezeas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trikala FC. Fragiskos Kalabosis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tasos Michalakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apostolos Spyrou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fokas Vorres got free with Tasos Michalakos in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loukianos Kakaronis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Pirani having to make a save. Tasos Michalakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolos Spyrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Saint Neilos Utd's Tasos Michalakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fokas Vorres in the 85th minute of play. Tasos Michalakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolos Spyrou in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Saint Neilos Utd's goalkeeper Tasos Michalakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Trikala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fragiskos Mantarinakis to maneuver through the defense. Trikala FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
