The Xerocabos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Antonis Nestorakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Evaggelos Rigopoulos hit a great ball. Evaggelos Makaronas charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaggelos Makaronas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute Eutichios Papadamoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokas Papatsakalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PAOK FC's Giorgos Kostetsos got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alexis Malezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xerocabos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eutichios Papadamoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fokas Papatsakalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eutichios Papadamoulis's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Kostas Pirovolidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PAOK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xerocabos F.C. the free kick. In the 31st minute, one of PAOK FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PAOK FC. Fokas Papatsakalos went to the wrong direction when Iraklis Papantonakis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Fokas Papatsakalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Eutichios Papadamoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonis Nestorakoglou's late challenge caught a Xerocabos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonis Nestorakoglou helped the player get up and apologised. Antonis Nestorakoglou hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giorgos Kostetsos was the one to do the kick off. Xerocabos F.C.'s Alexis Malezas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eutichios Papadamoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fokas Papatsakalos was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Eutichios Papadamoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokas Papatsakalos having to interfere. When Alexis Malezas came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Xerocabos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Malezas couldn't finish the play. Kostas Pirovolidis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Eutichios Papadamoulis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of PAOK FC's Fokas Papatsakalos. Fokas Papatsakalos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fokas Papatsakalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xerocabos F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
