A collision led to PAO KORINTHOU getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fotis Labaras hit a great ball. If Giotis Moustakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nektarios Vrasidas's late challenge caught a PAO KORINTHOU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nektarios Vrasidas helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, PAO KORINTHOU's Zisis Laganas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Giorgos Georgiou. In the 13th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Tsiartas to maneuver through the defense. PAO KORINTHOU's Zisis Laganas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for INTER FC. Paris Drakopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anastasios Vamvakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelios Tarantakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menelaos Krommidas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Anastasios Vamvakas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giorgos Georgiou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleftherios Svirkos to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Paris Drakopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Giorgos Georgiou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Tarantakis in the 40th minute of play forced PAO KORINTHOU's goalkeeper Menelaos Krommidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giotis Moustakidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelios Tarantakis made a kick off. Paris Drakopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Paris Drakopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Georgiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Giotis Moustakidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Menelaos Krommidas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. INTER FC's Giorgos Georgiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasios Vamvakas in the 65th minute of play. Giotis Moustakidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menelaos Krommidas having to interfere. When Nektarios Vrasidas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. The supporters of PAO KORINTHOU booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nektarios Vrasidas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, PAO KORINTHOU's goalkeeper Menelaos Krommidas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giotis Moustakidis. In the 84th minute, Anastasios Vamvakas made a precise shot to the right of Giorgos Georgiou. INTER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After having played for 89 minutes, Paris Drakopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAO KORINTHOU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paris Drakopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasios Vamvakas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Georgiou having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Paris Drakopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAO KORINTHOU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. PAO KORINTHOU's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
