But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilleas Voliotis couldn't finish the play. Argyris Baloukos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Vamvakas in the 34th minute of the match. Menelaos Krommidas made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Lakis Pentasferos sent off a good shot on target. PAO KORINTHOU's Menelaos Krommidas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save PAO KORINTHOU from getting a goal against them. Argyris Baloukos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Vamvakas in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, PAO KORINTHOU's Anastasios Vamvakas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Argyris Baloukos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasios Vamvakas to make the kick off. Paris Drakopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Baloukos having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Zisis Laganas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SUPER FC's Argyris Baloukos didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in SUPER FC's zone, Paris Drakopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argyris Baloukos came out of the goal and Paris Drakopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panagiotis Panagis's late challenge caught a PAO KORINTHOU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panagiotis Panagis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, SUPER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Panagis to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Achilleas Voliotis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Menelaos Krommidas. PAO KORINTHOU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achilleas Voliotis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
