Nestoras Kolonelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theodosis Liolidis charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theodosis Liolidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, REDS FC's Alekos Valassopoulos got a free kick in the 25th minute. During the 26th minute of the match Theodosis Liolidis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Theodosis Liolidis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of REDS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xerocabos F.C.:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Xerocabos F.C.. Iraklis Papantonakis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nestoras Kolonelos. 0-3. In the 31st minute, Michalis Geropappas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in REDS FC's zone, Theocharis Papanikolopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestoras Kolonelos came out of the goal and Theocharis Papanikolopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eutichios Papadamoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kolonelos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Malezas in the 38th minute of play forced REDS FC's goalkeeper Nestoras Kolonelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, REDS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoforos Belos to maneuver through the defense. Eutichios Papadamoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Xerocabos F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alekos Valassopoulos made a kick off. Konstantinos Papalazarou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestoras Kolonelos was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Eutichios Papadamoulis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eutichios Papadamoulis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. A collision led to REDS FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Christoforos Belos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the REDS FC defense, Alexis Malezas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestoras Kolonelos. The REDS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestoras Kolonelos should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoforos Belos in the 68th minute of play forced Xerocabos F.C.'s goalkeeper Trifon Peridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trifon Peridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alekos Valassopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Xerocabos F.C.'s Eutichios Papadamoulis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 79th minute Eutichios Papadamoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kolonelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestoras Kolonelos made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alexis Malezas sent off a good shot on target. Theocharis Papanikolopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestoras Kolonelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theocharis Papanikolopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Xerocabos F.C. booed when REDS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Geropappas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Nestoras Kolonelos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nestoras Kolonelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Malezas in the 90th minute of the match. Eutichios Papadamoulis succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Alexis Malezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kolonelos having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Eutichios Papadamoulis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestoras Kolonelos, 0-8. When the match was over Xerocabos F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than REDS FC throughout the match.
