Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loukianos Kakaronis started the match with the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Vitαlion BC's Panos Samios tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Babbis Makris struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Aris Kalifoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Saint Neilos Utd. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Loukianos Kakaronis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Saint Neilos Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Loukianos Kakaronis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aris Kalifoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitαlion BC's Aris Kalifoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kontaxis in the 17th minute of play. Babbis Makris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Loukianos Kakaronis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babbis Makris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kalifoulis having to interfere. Vitαlion BC's Aris Kalifoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kontaxis in the 37th minute of play. Alkaios Xenidiss short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Tasos Michalakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Koulis Krotidis's late challenge caught a FC Saint Neilos Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Koulis Krotidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Vitαlion BC got a freekick which was hit by Koulis Krotidis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loukianos Kakaronis in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aris Kalifoulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aris Kalifoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Kontaxis in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Vitαlion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Miaoulis to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Nontas Bougatselis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tasos Michalakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loukianos Kakaronis didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-1 via right post in the game's 64th minute. FC Saint Neilos Utd's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Babbis Makris managed to get in a good position for a shot. One of Vitαlion BC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Saint Neilos Utd:s goal. Aris Kalifoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Kakaronis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Petros Papadimopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vitαlion BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Saint Neilos Utd the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Vitαlion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Papadimopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, FC Saint Neilos Utd's Miltiadis Travezeas tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tasos Michalakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Bougatselis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Aris Kalifoulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Babbis Makris went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Vitαlion BC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Saint Neilos Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
