Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eutichios Papadamoulis started the match with the kick off. Giorgos Georgiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis in the 5th minute of the match. When Takis Patakos fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER FC's protests and gave Takis Patakos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Xerocabos F.C. booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Patakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Alexis Malezas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of INTER FC's Giorgos Georgiou. Giorgos Georgiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. INTER FC's Giorgos Georgiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutichios Papadamoulis in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Stelios Tarantakis hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Alexis Malezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xerocabos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Malezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Eutichios Papadamoulis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giorgos Georgiou. The goal made the score 2-0. Theocharis Papanikolopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Giorgos Georgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Xerocabos F.C.'s Eutichios Papadamoulis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 45th minute, Christos Skondras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes INTER FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iraklis Papantonakis who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Xerocabos F.C.'s corner Iraklis Papantonakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giorgos Georgiou quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Alexis Malezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Giorgos Georgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Xerocabos F.C.'s zone, Stelios Tarantakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trifon Peridis came out of the goal and Stelios Tarantakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giorgos Georgiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis in the 62nd minute of play. Christos Skondras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Trifon Peridis made a huge save. In the 66thth minute of the game Eutichios Papadamoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER FC's Giorgos Georgiou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexis Malezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Georgiou having to interfere. If Eutichios Papadamoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Malezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eutichios Papadamoulis came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Xerocabos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Papadamoulis couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Eutichios Papadamoulis made a precise shot to the right of Giorgos Georgiou. INTER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Giorgos Georgiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Xerocabos F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
