The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogenis Kosmoulis during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Nontas Bougatselis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vitαlion BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Nontas Bougatselis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Vitαlion BC's Nontas Bougatselis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fondas Agapoulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Vitαlion BC were awarded a corner. Panos Samios went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute, Alkaios Xenidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Vitαlion BC's goalkeeper Aris Kalifoulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aggelos Kelepouris. Alkaios Xenidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fondas Agapoulis having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Aris kavalas's zone, Alkaios Xenidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fondas Agapoulis came out of the goal and Alkaios Xenidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Aris kavalas defense, Nontas Bougatselis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fondas Agapoulis. The Aris kavalas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fondas Agapoulis should have stopped the shot. After the first half Vitαlion BC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes, Alkis Sotiriou made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vitαlion BC's Aris Kalifoulis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 minutes Vitαlion BC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stratos Remoundos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Aris kavalas's Eutichios Kotsios to a score. 2-2 in the 59th minute. If Aggelos Kelepouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nontas Bougatselis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fondas Agapoulis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Eutichios Fytanidis's late challenge caught a Vitαlion BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eutichios Fytanidis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aris kavalas's Eutichios Fytanidis got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Vitαlion BC's Nontas Bougatselis in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aris kavalas's goalie prevented a goal. Nontas Bougatselis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fondas Agapoulis having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Aris kavalas's Alkis Sotiriou made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aris Kalifoulis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes, Alkis Sotiriou made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vitαlion BC's Aris Kalifoulis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Sokratis Traganos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aris kavalas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sokratis Traganos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aris kavalas's Aggelos Kelepouris, in the 96th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Aris kavalas. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aris kavalas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vitαlion BC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
