Vassilis Kalvos came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς's Kleon Semeloglou. But to his dismay, Kleon Semeloglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 72 minutes into the game, Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς's Giannis Tatsos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vassilis Kalvos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 79 minutes into the game, Fotis Anastasakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
