Giannis Meletakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. F.C KOKORETSI's Alexis Tassoulis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. AEK SFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C KOKORETSI the free kick. When Fanis Petriniotis came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the AEK SFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fanis Petriniotis couldn't finish the play. F.C KOKORETSI's Vassilis Kalvos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C KOKORETSI from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Fanis Petriniotis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Vassilis Kalvos to make any attempt to save it. If Fanis Petriniotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Petros Margaritis managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK SFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petros Margaritis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Kalvos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
