Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5834, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aimilios Kromlidis started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Ermis Papageorgakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Chatzinathanail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Knights Of Ni's Christos Ferekidis got a free kick in the 6th minute. Omiros Chatzinathanail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermis Papageorgakos in the 11th minute of the match. Nikos Zacharoulis's late challenge caught a Knights Of Ni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Zacharoulis helped the player get up and apologised. Knights Of Ni's Akakios Vasilas was substituted for Anthimos Minou. After 13 played minutes Mégkla got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Zacharoulis. Mégkla's Omiros Chatzinathanail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermis Papageorgakos in the 18th minute of play. Akakios Vasilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermis Papageorgakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Chatzinathanail having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match Chrisostomos Matalas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omiros Chatzinathanail skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th minute, Giorgos Kostis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Ermis Papageorgakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Chatzinathanail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Ermis Papageorgakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Chatzinathanail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Chrisostomos Matalas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omiros Chatzinathanail showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Mégkla's goal looked a bit too open when Ermis Papageorgakos came free, but Omiros Chatzinathanail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akakios Vasilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omiros Chatzinathanail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermis Papageorgakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Akakios Vasilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Omiros Chatzinathanail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermis Papageorgakos scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omiros Chatzinathanail, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermis Papageorgakos to make the kick off. Ermis Papageorgakos struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Omiros Chatzinathanail didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knights Of Ni. Mégkla's Omiros Chatzinathanail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermis Papageorgakos in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Akakios Vasilas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Omiros Chatzinathanail was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Akakios Vasilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Knights Of Ni booed when Mégkla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Kostis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mégkla getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Giannis Kirmitzas hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Mégkla's goal looked a bit too open when Ermis Papageorgakos came free, but Omiros Chatzinathanail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermis Papageorgakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Omiros Chatzinathanail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Zografidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Kalpadakis in the 74th minute of the match. Omiros Chatzinathanail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermis Papageorgakos in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Ermis Papageorgakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Chatzinathanail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mégkla's Omiros Chatzinathanail got control of the ball when Akakios Vasilas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimitris Zografidis came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Mégkla's Aimilios Kromlidis. But to his dismay, Aimilios Kromlidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Knights Of Ni's Marios Latsios was substituted for Sotiris Matsoukis. Giorgos Kostis charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgos Kostis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mégkla's Giorgos Kostis got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Akakios Vasilas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Knights Of Ni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akakios Vasilas couldn't finish the play. Omiros Chatzinathanail was a little too slow when Ermis Papageorgakos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-2. Knights Of Ni's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
