Pipis Adamakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PaokEuosmou's Pipis Adamakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save PaokEuosmou from getting a goal against them. Kleon Semeloglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kleon Semeloglou hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς's Fotis Anastasakos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pipis Adamakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 30 minutes, Kleon Skoufas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kleon Skoufas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Dermitzoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vrasidas Leptokaridis having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takis Katsoulis during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Takis Katsoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PaokEuosmou's Takis Peridis got a free kick in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fotis Anastasakos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pipis Adamakis. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. Vrasidas Leptokaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Katsoulis in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kostas Loubakis was the one to do the kick off. Fotis Anastasakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fotis Anastasakos came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fotis Anastasakos couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes, Charalambos Kostarakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PaokEuosmou and the Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes PaokEuosmou got a freekick which was hit by Charalambos Kostarakis. Pipis Adamakis came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς's Fotis Anastasakos. But to his dismay, Fotis Anastasakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Kostas Loubakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pipis Adamakis having to interfere. Fotis Anastasakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pipis Adamakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Takis Katsoulis took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Vrasidas Leptokaridis to make any attempt to save it. Kostas Loubakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fotis Anastasakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, PaokEuosmou's goal looked a bit too open when Kleon Semeloglou came free, but Pipis Adamakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipis Adamakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Tatsos in the 85th minute of the match. A hard shot 89 in the game by Giannis Dermitzoglou from a close distance when the talented Vrasidas Leptokaridis managed to make a qualified save. Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς's players were relieved. After 92 minutes, Nikos Atmatzidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PaokEuosmou and the Ολυμπιακός Πειραιώς players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Louis Kidonas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PaokEuosmou's Pipis Adamakis didn't even have to move.
