With a little luck, Mégkla's Omiros Chatzinathanail got control of the ball when Achilleas Pirovolidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mégkla's Omiros Chatzinathanail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Kostoulis in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Giorgos Kostis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mégkla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS the free kick. Giorgos Kostis hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Omiros Chatzinathanail made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Achilleas Pirovolidis sent off a good shot on target. Giorgos Lakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Chatzinathanail having to interfere. Mégkla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Giorgos Kostoulis scored to the left of an out of position Omiros Chatzinathanail, making the score, 1-0. Christoforos Dimitroulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Kromlidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Toboulidis during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Thodoris Toboulidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kostas Kalpadakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mégkla's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Kalpadakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoforos Dimitroulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's Thodoris Toboulidis got a free kick in the 24th minute. Christoforos Dimitroulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Kromlidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Giorgos Kostoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Chatzinathanail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgos Kostoulis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omiros Chatzinathanail saved Mégkla from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Mégkla's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Kostoulis came free, but Omiros Chatzinathanail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's Christoforos Dimitroulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Kalpadakis in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Mégkla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Kostis to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aimilios Kromlidis to make the kick off. Achilleas Pirovolidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Chatzinathanail having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Mégkla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Korelas to maneuver through the defense. Omiros Chatzinathanail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 61st minute of the match. Aimilios Kromlidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christoforos Dimitroulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoforos Dimitroulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimilios Kromlidis in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Thodoris Toboulidis hit a great ball. Aimilios Kromlidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Mégkla's goal looked a bit too open when Achilleas Pirovolidis came free, but Omiros Chatzinathanail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Kostis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Giorgos Kostoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Omiros Chatzinathanail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Giorgos Kostoulis came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Kostoulis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mégkla getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Giorgos Kostis hit a great ball. Mégkla's Omiros Chatzinathanail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 81st minute of play. Omiros Chatzinathanail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Kostoulis in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Giannis Kirmitzas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mégkla and the ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giannis Kirmitzas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play Mégkla's Giannis Kirmitzas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS had played much better football throughout.
