Pipis Adamakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kleanthis Karabelopoulos's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Stathis Pagonakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to PaokEuosmou getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Markos Soupidis hit a great ball. Pipis Adamakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kleanthis Karabelopoulos in the 14th minute of the match. Stathis Pagonakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menios Leras in the 17th minute of play forced PaokEuosmou's goalkeeper Pipis Adamakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleanthis Karabelopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pipis Adamakis having to interfere. If Stathis Pagonakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takis Peridis's late challenge caught a Skafνdhi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Peridis helped the player get up and apologised. Takis Peridis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kleanthis Karabelopoulos in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pipis Adamakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to PaokEuosmou getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lambros Gianniotis hit a great ball. Kleanthis Karabelopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, PaokEuosmou's goal looked a bit too open when Kleanthis Karabelopoulos came free, but Pipis Adamakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Takis Katsoulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stathis Seremetidis. Takis Katsoulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Takis Katsoulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniil Kotridis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. PaokEuosmou's Giannis Dermitzoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Skafνdhi FC's Nikos Katsikopodaros got a free kick in the 56th minute. Stathis Seremetidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giannis Dermitzoglou went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Dermitzoglou in the 62nd minute of play forced Skafνdhi FC's goalkeeper Stathis Seremetidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Takis Peridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Seremetidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kleanthis Karabelopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Skafνdhi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Katsikopodaros to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, PaokEuosmou's Charalambos Kostarakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stathis Seremetidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PaokEuosmou reached it. The supporters of PaokEuosmou booed when Skafνdhi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Katsikopodaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Dermitzoglou scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stathis Seremetidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stathis Pagonakis struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Pipis Adamakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skafνdhi FC. In the 89th minute Takis Katsoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Seremetidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stathis Pagonakis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Skafνdhi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stathis Pagonakis couldn't finish the play.
