After having played for 26 minutes, Giannis Meletakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C KOKORETSI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Meletakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Vourkos got free with Vassilis Kalvos in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errikos Georgiou in the 36th minute of play forced F.C KOKORETSI's goalkeeper Vassilis Kalvos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LIVERPOOL.FC's zone, Chrisostomos Natsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanos Itoudis came out of the goal and Chrisostomos Natsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Matsas came free, but Thanos Itoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanos Itoudis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giannis Meletakis's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Makis Latousakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vassilis Kalvos. F.C KOKORETSI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakis Matsas to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, F.C KOKORETSI's Sakis Matsas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Sakis Matsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanos Itoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Pseftis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Makis Latousakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIVERPOOL.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C KOKORETSI the free kick. In the 76th match minute, F.C KOKORETSI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Tassoulis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errikos Georgiou in the 90th minute of play forced F.C KOKORETSI's goalkeeper Vassilis Kalvos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the F.C KOKORETSI defense, Errikos Georgiou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Kalvos. The F.C KOKORETSI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Kalvos should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Thanos Itoudis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dimitris Vourkos might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vassilis Kalvos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitris Vourkos ran back to his position shaking his head.
